Pint Size Science October Theme:

Agriculture: Lab to Farm

Hands-on science. Real-world connections. Future-ready skills.

Join us for a 5-week journey where curiosity meets agriculture! From seeds and soil to bugs and robots, learners will dig in, experiment, and explore how science and technology shape the future of farming.

Each week brings a new theme packed with discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun!

Week 1: From Seed to Sprout

Dissect plants, germinate seeds, and uncover the biology and chemistry that help plants grow.

Week 2: Farms of the Future

Robots, sensors, and drones, oh my! Experiment with the cutting-edge tools farmers use to make agriculture more efficient.

Week 3: Getting Dirty!

Grab a magnifying glass and investigate what’s hiding in the soil beneath our feet.

Week 4: Bugs, Friend or Foe?

Pollinators or pests? Discover which bugs help crops thrive and which cause harm.

Week 5: Nature as a Maker

Turn nature into creations! Make butter, spin wool, mix natural dyes, and even imagine a farm for Mars.

The science behind the PSS program:

Pint Size Science classes are designed to reflect current brain research, which shows that academic learning is directly connected to emotion. Young children need a caring adult to share their early STEM experiences, and Pint Size Science classes provide opportunities for young children and their parent or caregiver to learn together.
