Program Details
Commander Susan Kilrain is coming to the Science Center of Iowa to share her incredible journey through STEM from her early interest in aviation to becoming both a U.S. Navy pilot and NASA Space Shuttle pilot. She will share powerful stories of perseverance, leadership, and determination, offering insight into what it takes to pursue ambitious goals in science and engineering. As part of our Girls in Science initiative, this special event is designed to inspire girls to explore their interests in STEM and envision themselves as future innovators and leaders.
