4th–5th Camps
Time Travelers
Have you ever wondered how scientists of the past made their discoveries with the information they had? Travel back in time to learn about how how people made historic discoveries like gravity, flight, and germ theory.
STEM Learning Goals: Campers will have an increased understanding of the scientific process and how scientific hypotheses are tested.
Energy Engineers
Explore electricity, circuits, and alternative energy in this electrifying hands-on camp!
STEM Goal: Develop understanding of electricity, circuits, and renewable energy systems.
Lights, Camera, Animate!
Create your own characters, plots, and scenery to produce a short animated film with your class.
STEM Goal: Learn the technology and engineering behind film production, from set design to special effects.
Brain Games
Have you ever wondered how our brain makes sense of the world? How algorithms work? Do you love puzzles? Join us as we uncover the mysteries of neuroscience at camp!
STEM Goal: Learners will have an increased understanding of the brain, nervous system, and engage with puzzles.
Semiquincentennial Science
Join us in a hands-on camp where learners explore how science and innovation have shaped the United States over the past 250 years, and imagine what discoveries might shape the next 250.
STEM Goal: Campers will connect past breakthroughs to present-day technologies and design creative solutions for the future through experiments, engineering challenges, and inquiry-based exploration.
Brain Games
Challenge your mind with puzzles, mazes, riddles, and codes while exploring how the brain works!
STEM Goal: Investigate neuroscience while applying logic, coding, and problem-solving.
SCI Girls: Create
Calling all makers, builders, and dreamers! In this camp designed especially for girls in STEM, you’ll explore engineering, art, and science as you design and create your own projects—from hands-on inventions to creative experiments.
STEM Goal: Empower girls to build confidence in STEM by applying design thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills through creative, student-driven projects.
iEarth: 4th-5th Grade
