Defy gravity and dive into the wonders of science, technology, and exploration! From rockets to helicopters, uncover the science of flight at SCI.
STEM Learning Goals: Campers will have an increased understanding of the physics of flight.
iEarth 2nd-3rd (June 10-14 )
Get in touch with the world around you through activities like water quality research, ecology, hiking, tree identification, species documentation, nature investigation, and more! This is a remote camp held at Macrae Park.
STEM Learning Goals: Increased understanding of ecology, conservation, and ecosystems.
Space, Sky, and Stars (June 10-14)
Blast off into a universe of discovery at this space camp! Explore our solar system and beyond as we learn about our sky, planets, and stars.
STEM Learning Goals: Campers will have an increased understanding of the solar system, asteroids, planets, black holes, and stars.
Anatomy Academy (June 17-21)
Camp Description: Our bodies are truly amazing things! From the brain and bones to skin and lungs, we will explore all the processes that are happening in our bodies in this biology and anatomy camp.
STEM Learning Goals: Develop an understanding of the systems at work in the human body.
Making STEM (June 24-28)
What does it mean to be a maker? Would you believe that making is fundamental to innovation in STEM fields? Join us on this exciting journey to make STEM magic happen.
STEM Learning Goals: Campers will be challenged to design, fabricate, test, and re-design in this making camp.
Dinosaur Discoveries (July 1-3)
Uncover the past by learning about paleontologists’ techniques to unearth and preserve dinosaur bones! We will play to understand how fossils are made and found.
STEM Learning Goals: Campers will have an increased understanding of time, paleontology, and dinosaurs.
