Fashion the Future (June 3-7)

Unleash your inner trendsetter at this camp- where creativity meets innovation on the runway of tomorrow! We will investigate the fabrics, uniforms, and clothing that will be needed in the STEM jobs of the future in this design camp. 

STEM Learning Goals:  Campers will have an increased understanding of textiles, materials, and fabrication methods of space suits, workwear, and safety gear

 

Invention Convention (June 10-14)

Do you love solving problems? Join us as we explore solutions to the challenges of the future in this invention camp!

STEM Learning Goals: Campers will ideate, test, and design prototypes of inventions that solve real-world problems. 

 

iEarth 4th-5th (June 17-21)

Get in touch with the world around you through activities like water quality research, ecology, hiking, tree identification, species documentation, nature investigation, and more! This is a remote camp held at Macrae Park.

STEM Learning Goals: Increased understanding of ecology, conservation, and ecosystems.

 

SCI Girls: Create (June 17-21)

If you like science and creating, this is the camp for you. This camp will explore different ways to create, combining conventional crafting with science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

STEM Learning Goals: Using the engineering design process, build creations to expand engineering skills and knowledge of the design process.

 

Reptiles in Time (June 24-28)

Let’s embark on a prehistoric adventure as we discover the history of some of the most ancient and efficient animals on our planet! Uncover the mysteries of ancient reptile ancestors, as well as the snakes and turtles of today in this biology camp. 

STEM Learning Goals: Campers will have an increased understanding of the scope of time reptiles have roamed the earth, their unique qualities, and their relationship to dinosaurs. 

 

SCI City (July 1-3)

What makes a city hum? How would you build the city of the future? Come imagine how we can make the world a better place in this city planning and architecture camp. 

STEM Learning Goals: Campers will understand more about architecture and city planning. 

*SCI City is a three-day camp.

 

SCI Survivor (July 8-12)

Do you have what it takes to survive being shipwrecked on a desert island? How about the Arctic Circle? Learn how to survive and thrive, no matter what the conditions are in this camp about safety, geography, and invention! 

STEM Learning Goals: Campers will participate in challenges and learn about survival in the most challenging places on earth. 

 

SCI Girls: Conserve (July 8-12)

Do you love our planet and have a passion for protecting it? Join us for this remote camp held at Macrae Park where we will explore nature, ecology, botany, and survival. 

SCI Girls: Conserve is a remote camp held at Macrae Park.

STEM Learning Goals: SCI Girls will have an increased understanding of native species, habitats, and challenges facing our area.
